It was revealed by the Great Dana White, that Jon Jones is returning back to UFC 309, Jones would face Miocic in the main event of UFC 309. But sadly, this would be Jon Jones last fight, after this fight Jones is retiring from the octagon and we may never see him fighting. This absolutely make UFC 309 an iconic event.

Jon Jones will fight against Stipe Miocic, and this might be the Jon Jones last fight. The fight was supposed to happen in 2023, but due to Jon Jones injury, the fight was called off. The 36-year-old has returned to the gym training hard after he suffered pectoral injury. The injury happened during the fight preparation.

Its said that, there was a pay dispute between Jones and UFC. Jones believed he is much more worth than he was paid. This causes a rift between Dana and Jones.

Jones won last fight against Ciryl. After the last fight, Jones decided to step out of the octagon for a while. In a recent interview Jones said he would be coming off light weight.
