Brandon Moreno vs Amir Albazi, The Unexpected! UFC 246

Brandon Vs Amir

What a fight, UFC did a good job in bringing up both the fighters for a crucial Flyweight Main Event. The fight took place in Rogers Place.

No wonder why Brandon is called ‘The Assassin Baby’, the way he smashed Amir was spectacular. People said that Brandon is washed now, but Brandon prove everybody wrong.

Starting from jabs, kicks Brandon took over the fight with his dominant skills. The left head kick in the 2nd round made Amir wobbled, this shook Amir to a greater extent. From there Brandon took the pace that he needed to dominate the fight

Brandon rained kicks on Amir, making him unstable. This continued with few hard punches. Amir was already hurt and was bruised. Amir did land some of the hardest punches, but Brandon was getting back on his rhythm and was maintaining his pace, which helped Brandon to keep his momentum in the fight.

Brandon was firing back punches in countering Amir’s punches; Brandon definitely took the advantage of Octagon by moving back and forth. Amir doing good in the 4th round by landing good punches, but that wasn’t enough for putting down Brandon.

Amir gave his best in the final round, but seeing Brandon was something that you don’t expect, the way Brandon came back so stronger put the match results in Brandon’s bucket.

The eye poke made Brandon mad, shortly after the eye poke, Brandon was seen landing hard punches on Amir. The crowd definitely supported Brandon; it was clearly seen by the chants from the crowd. Also, Brandon attempted rolling kick on Amir.

Buzz was all about Amir, stating that he would definitely overpower Brandon, but Brandon turned the card. That is why I say, the results are 100% unpredictable nowadays in UFC.

Nevertheless, we shouldn’t forget the efforts and the attempts done by Amir, he did through some of the nice punches, but it wasn’t enough to bring down The Assassin Baby Brandon.

Much was expected from Amir from this fight, Amir looked well trained and seemed unbeatable for this fight, on the other hand speaking about Brandon, the results weren’t expected to be this good, but Brandon definitely shut a lot of people mouths. Kudos to Brandon.

Both the fighters stood strong till the last round, but there will only be one winner. The fight going up to 5 rounds shows the dedication these fighters put in themselves. Neither of the fighters gave up early.

It takes a lot to be standing tall and fighting all the way till round 5. Definitely Amir would be disappointed after the loss, but he has a lot to prove, and he is one of the strongest fighters and a hardest hitter in UFC right now. All he has to do is to put in more efforts in his training and has to come up with new ideas that would amaze his opponents once he strikes.

One the other hand Brandon should definitely look up for the next fight before going for a title shot, Brandon still has a lot to prove. Challenging the belt won’t be an easy task and Brandon has to work hard for it. Considering the time Brandon has now, most of the time should be utilized in improve his skills and bringing in something new.

Now it’s up to Dana, who he thinks would fight Brandon. And Dana does not disappoint us, he would definitely choose someone amazing. We also might see Brandon vs Amir again; time will speak about it.

Kudos and all cheers to both the fighters
